Mark

Logo Most fuses are marked on the body or end cap with a marker indicating their rating. But the "chip type" fuse feature has little or no markings, making identification very difficult.

Fuses may appear similar to each other with significantly different characteristics that determine their marking. The fuse mark usually conveys the following information:

The rating of the fuse in amps

Voltage rating of fuses

Time-current characteristics, i.e. speed fuses

Approved by national and international standards bodies

Manufacturer/Product number/series

Interrupt capability
